Greetings Reeves Families, 

REMIDER: No school Friday May 22nd and  Monday May 25th 

Attention Reeves Transfer Students: All transfer students planning to attend Olympia School District schools next school year must complete the renewal form for the 2026–2027 school year. This form confirms your intent to remain enrolled at Reeves, and helps us plan for the upcoming school year.

Family Engagement Night is Wednesday, May 20th, from 5-7pm! There will be Loteria, free dinner, prizes, a choir performance, and possibly a performance from our band! We would love to see you there.

Messages from our PTA:  CONCESSIONS

We are looking for help running the concessions booth during the showings of the school play, Frog and Toad, June 4-6.  Please click the QR code on the flyer or visit this website to sign up.

*Per state regulations, volunteers who handle concessions cash must be members of the PTA.

We have had a great year and look forward to keeping the momentum going.  A few Executive Board positions are up for election at our June 3rd meeting.  Please consider how you can share your time and talent for our students in the 26/27 school year.  Click here for position descriptions.

SNACK SHACK

***If you have an 8th grader, please remind them to use the remainder of their snack shack card by the end of the year.  Any funds not used will not be refunded.***  

Sixth and 7th graders with funds left on their snack shack cards will be able to access them next year.***

If your student is looking for a pre-paid card to use both at lunch and after school at sports concessions, you can purchase one HERE.  Remember to tell them they have a snack shack card!

DONATE A SNACK SHACK CARD FOR A STUDENT IN NEED

There are students at Reeves who may love a snack shack card but don’t have the funds.  If you’d like to provide one, click on the snack shack card link and put “DONATE” in the student name line.

SUPPORT REEVES FEEDER ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

MADISON FUN RUN

Madison Elementary School, one of Reeves’ feeder schools, is hosting a 5k fun run as a school fundraiser on Sunday, June 14 at Heritage Park at 8:30 am.  This is a great way to support another local school and come together as a Reeves community.  Click this link to sign up!

ROOSEVELT PTA EVENTS 

This Sunday, May 17th 10-1pm Roosevelt Spring Plant sale. 

Garden goodies up for grabs, including annuals, flowers, herbs, veggie starts, gently used gardening books and tools. Sweetlee's will be there as well selling ice cream. 

Friday, May 29th 6:30-8pm Roosevelt History and Open House Night. 

A celebration of Roosevelt’s history and a tour of the building. We’ll have refreshments and a display of artifacts going back over 100 years into Roosevelt’s past. This night also marks the moment we turn over multiple boxes of relics to the Olympia Historical Society for preservation, so future generations of Ravens can enjoy them. Open to the public, doors open at 6:15

Sunday May 31st 8am Roosevelt 5k & kids fun run

The kids will kick off the morning at 8:30am with the free half-miler kids races around the school. There will be two kids races: preK-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. Then the 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a course that meanders through the wider footpaths of Mission Creek Park. 5k registration costs $25 and includes a race shirt. To guarantee that you receive a race t-shirt, you must register by May 17. Registration will increase to $35 on Monday, May 25. Link to register

Sunday June 7th 10-2pm The Great Raven Flea Market

It’s spring! Time to clear out your closets and find new homes for your gently-used furniture, houseplants, kitchen items, clothing, and electronics!

Kids can register to sell their crafts for free(limited space available), adults can rent a parking stall for $50 to sell their items. Register here
